A-B-C-Date!

For this month’s The Little Note Exchange, I’m paired up with Lori (vannclan5.com) :) She had a great post on her blog about ABC Dates! I decided to make one for me :) So here’s some ABC Dates I came up with :)

What are ABC Dates you ask? It’s 26 dates in a year (every other week), each date corresponds to a letter of the alphabet. Since I’m a SC nut I figured I would see what I could come up with. Help me out with the letters I’m missing!

A – Aiken Bluegrass Festival or Artfields

B – The Big MO!!!! So much fun :) Drive-In movie :) Go eat at Wiz’s :)

C – Charleston Market or Carolina Cup

D – Downtown Alive in Greenville, SC (Outdoor street party with live music, drinks, and fun!) {Thanks Samantha!}

E – ?

F – Folly Beach to see the spots where Dear John and The Notebook were filmed :)

G – Greek Festival or Greenville Scottish Games or Gullah Festival

H – Hewn Timber Cabins or Habersham or Hoccer :) {A cross between hockey & soccer}

I – ?

J – “Shoeless” Joe Jackson Museum

K – Kayak/Canoe on Lynches River with the River Rats (My friend H’s dad runs these and he’s awesome!)

L – Loris Bog Off ~ Chicken Boggers around the state gather in the annual cookoff!

M – Merry Marketplace or Myrtle Beach Bike Week and Spring Rally or Medieval Times

N – North Charleston Arts Festival

O – ?

P – Piccolo Spoleto or Pecan Festival or Pirates Voyage or Pole Dancing Class

Q – Quilt Festival in Bishopville, Beaufort, or Hilton Head

R – River Banks Zoo They do a festival of lights each year close to Christmas and it’s awesome! RedWolves Game or Ripley’s Aquarium (Charleston or MB)

S – SC Stingrays Game or SC Strawberry Festival

T – Tea Room and Tea Plantation in Charleston. The Indigo Tea Room books inspired this one :)

U – USC Baseball Game

V – ?

W-  Wine & Design (Greenville, Columbia, Charleston)  Drink wine while getting artsy and painting a sweet canvas! (Thank Samantha for this one!)
