Today we traipsed through the pouring rain to go to Elmsdale Baptist Church. We looked like wet rats when we got there, but it was worth the walk through the pouring rain. The people are very nice, and gave us a ride home :)
Monday night we went back to the church to help with some cleaning and reorganizing in preparation for VBS. We were invited to come back and help with preparing decorations for VBS. (RIGHT UP MY ALLEY!) So I will be headed back Mon/Wed nights to help paint and decorate for VBS.
It was nice to get to know the members of the Church. They treated us to ice cream last night for helping them out :) I had bubble gum and a blue mouth from eating it!
