Well well, once again God proves He is awesome! I am sitting here enjoying a beautiful summer day. Having just received my financial aid letter in the mail stating that my entire school year next year is paid for. Yes I repeat:) Completely paid for! God is gracious and wonderful!
I am anxiously counting down the days until we leave for Nova Scotia! Currently, we have about 3 weeks and 6 days before our departure. In that time I know that God is going to be busy preparing us to minister.
My spiritual walk has been taking me through Micah, Ephesians, and Romans this week. God has shown me that His judgement is real, and the importance of spiritual leaders in the book of Micah. In Romans, He has emphasized Paul’s heart for people to hear about Christ and for them to accept, believe, and confess Him as their savior. BUT!!! They have to hear!
God has been showing me the importance of communication. I have to talk, tell, share, and be bold in my faith :) I have to tell people about God and His amazingness (if that’s a word) in my life.
A verse that has stuck with me this week is this:
“Their voice has gone out into all the earth, Their words to the end of the world.” Romans 10:18.
While I may come home in August from Nova Scotia, one of my goals this summer is to let my voice go out, to raise praises to the Lord, and glorify Him through the labor that I do so that I leave an imprint that points people to the cross.
